Each year, CFY hosts our annual
Tech Leadership Awards
to recognize social responsibility among IT executives, excellence in educational technology, and entrepreneurship and innovation in digital leadership. Read more about each of the awards below.
This annual fundraising event also serves to raise CFY's profile among corporate and technology leaders. The event is attended by hundreds of leaders from the technology and educational software industries. Members of the
Student Software Team are also on hand at the event to demonstrate the software titles nominated for the Family Learning Software Award during
Education Executives Day.
The 2008 Tech Leadership Awards took place on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. Thank you to all the generous sponsors for helping make this event a huge success. Click here to see pictures from the event.

Parent of the Year Award
CFY’s
Parent of the Year Award acknowledges a “parent” (or guardian, grandparent or another supportive adult) who has worked hard to improve the home learning environment for the family; thereby helping his or her child do better in school and in life. To select the award winner CFY students submit nomination forms, which include an essay about why their nominee should be CFY's
Parent of the Year.
Essays of our finalists are then displayed at the Tech Leadership Awards. The winning essay is read by the nominating student—as he or she presents the Award to CFY's
Parent of the Year. Such a tribute is a heartwarming and inspirational addition to our annual award presentations.
Parent of the Year Award winners:
- 2008: John Fok, Father of CFY Student Sam Fok
