Each year, CFY hosts our annual
Tech Leadership Awards
to recognize social responsibility among IT executives, excellence in educational technology, and entrepreneurship and innovation in digital leadership. Read more about each of the awards below.
This annual fundraising event also serves to raise CFY's profile among corporate and technology leaders. The event is attended by hundreds of leaders from the technology and educational software industries. Members of the
Student Software Team are also on hand at the event to demonstrate the software titles nominated during the
Education Executives Day.
The 2008 Tech Leadership Awards will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2008.
Stay tuned for more information.

Parent of the Year Award
CFY’s
Parent of the Year Award acknowledges a “parent” (or guardian, grandparent or another supportive adult) who has worked hard to improve the home learning environment for the family; thereby helping his or her child do better in school and in life. The process of selecting who will win the award is in progress: CFY students are submitting nomination forms, which include an essay about why their nominee should be the first-ever CFY
Parent of the Year. The winner and three finalists will be notified by May 17th.
Essays of our finalists will be displayed at the Tech Leadership Awards. The winning essay will be read by the nominating student—as he or she presents the Award to CFY's
Parent of the Year. Such a tribute promises to be a heartwarming and inspirational addition to our annual award presentations.
