About CFY-New York City

Computers for Youth-New York City has been providing services to NYC families for more than a decade and has served nearly 17,000 families to date.  Now, CFY-New York City is in the midst of a significant expansion and will serve nearly 19,000 families across the city in the next two years alone.

A key driver of this historic growth is CFY’s receipt of one of the largest U.S. Department of Commerce grants for the “Sustainable Broadband Adoption” portion of the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP).

CFY-New York City partners with low-income schools, both traditional and charter, to improve the Home Learning Environment of their students.
