Your financial contributions help CFY improve the home learning environment of school children from low-income families nationwide.

Computers for Youth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send you an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.

Stock Transfers


Donating appreciated assets, for example, gifts of stock, provide you with a double tax benefit. Donors receive an income tax-deduction for the gift's full fair market value and also incur no capital gains on the appreciation.

Securities held in a brokerage account should be transferred via DTC (Depository Trust Co. System) to CFY. Prior to transferring stock, please alert Janice Goldfarb at 212-563-7300 ext. 124, so that we may efficiently learn of and acknowledge your gift.
